01 – Initial Consultation

Your Restylane experience begins with a comprehensive facial assessment conducted by our medical specialists. During this consultation, we’ll discuss your aesthetic goals and concerns while reviewing your medical history and any previous filler treatments you’ve had. Our experts will explain which Restylane or other products are best suited for your specific needs and develop a personalized treatment plan, including cost discussions.

02 – Treatment Day

On the day of your Restylane treatment, we’ll begin with a brief pre-treatment review and photos. After cleansing the treatment areas, we’ll apply topical numbing cream for enhanced comfort. We’ll then place strategic injections using fine needles, selecting the appropriate Restylane product for each treatment area. Before you leave, you’ll receive immediate aftercare instructions and schedule your follow-up appointment.

Most patients experience a mild pressure sensation during injections and may notice temporary redness at injection sites. You’ll see immediate volume enhancement with Restylane, and it will continue to improve over the following days as the hyaluronic acid integrates with your tissues.

03 – Post-Treatment Experience

Within 3-5 days after your treatment, Restylane will settle into its optimal position and noticeably improve in treated areas. Any initial tenderness typically subsides during this period. You can resume most social activities immediately after treatment, and makeup can be worn over treated areas after 24 hours. These initial results will continue to refine over the following days.

By the two-week mark, you’ll experience the complete integration of Restylane with surrounding tissues. During your follow-up appointment, we’ll assess your final results, discuss any minor touch-ups if needed, and plan for future maintenance treatments.

04 – Recovery

Restylane treatments at Haven Medspa are designed to be minimally invasive with limited downtime, allowing you to immediately return to most normal activities. Some patients may experience temporary side effects, including redness at injection sites that typically resolves within hours.

We advise against touching or massaging treated areas unless specifically instructed, avoiding strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours, avoiding excessive heat exposure for one week, consuming alcohol for 24 hours to minimize swelling and scheduling major events within one week of first-time treatments.
